Where to Buy Magic Bands: Best Places
Disney Magicbands (or Magic Bands) have been around since 2013 (they’re going on 10 years – wow!) and I couldn’t be happier. I love just hoe efficient they are, enjoy that they’re waterproof, and really love to decorate them, aka, bling them up to personally customize my own.
In addition to all of the above, they work as your Walt Disney World (WDW) Resort room key, you can use one for your Disney Dining Plan purchase (when it comes back, of course), and even for buying souvenirs during your stay or at Disney Springs. And I can’t forget to add: Magic bands may be used for Disney Genie service in all of the theme parks.
One of my favorite things to do when I’m visiting WDW is to look for the newest styles and colors and match them with my outfit. Hey, I’m not apologizing for that.
Here’s where to buy Magic Bands at Disney World and off-property – plus one spot that will save you a ton of money on them!

Where to Buy Magic Bands at Disney World Theme Parks
Easy enough, Disney World wants us to wear them, so they’ve made it very easy to find them in its theme parks. At just about any major shop (apart from restaurants and other food spots) you’ll be able to see at least a few styles.
Magic Kingdom Magicbands – Just off the top of my head, The Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. has the biggest selection of Magicbands in the park. You’ll also have good luck back in Tommorrowland in Star Traders.
Epcot Magicbands – Again, hit the largest shops first, so head for Creations near Test Track or Port of Entry.
Hollywood Studios Magicbands – Mickey’s of Hollywood and Celebrity 5 & 10.
Animal Kingdom Magicbands – Discovery Trading Company.
If you’re coming up empty-handed, please feel free to ask any castmember – they’ll be more than happy to help.
Tip: If you’re looking for one particular style or color of Magic band you’ve seen before, castmembers at the stores are usually able to hunt it down for you and let you know exactly where it’s located on the property if still for sale.
MagicBands at Disney Springs – They can be found in World of Disney and Disney Pin Traders (a pagoda-style shop just outside the main World of Disney entrance).
Where to Buy Magic Bands Online
Shop Disney for Magicbands going to be the only place that I recommend. Right now, you can find Magicband 2.0 as well as MagicBand+ (the latest style that makes wearing one an interactive experience). You can sort buy newest, most popular, and price to help you narrow it down.
Of course, you can buy them on Etsy and eBay, but my advice is to do your research to make sure they haven’t already been previously linked to someone’s account. If that’s the case, you won’t be able to switch it to yours.
From our friends at Sand and Snow, here are 5 things never to do with Magicbands.
MagicBands at Disney World Resorts
I’ll make this one short and sweet: at every Walt Disney World resort, head to its main shopping store to look for Magicbands. Sometimes you’ll be able to find special edition styles that you won’t find in the theme parks.
Where to Buy Magic Bands – Disney Outlet Stores
You may not know about this one, so I had to add it in. Two Disney outlet shops near Walt Disney World often sell MagicBands for a much lower price than in the theme parks and resorts. Officially called Disney Character Warehouse, both offer clothing, shoes, bags, seasonal merchandise, and trading pins among plenty of other things.
If you’re heading to one of the Disney outlets, make sure to keep your eyes out for them.
