Today, Walt Disney World announced “Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” at World Showcase’s American Adventure Pavilion. Adding to new and fresh ideas throughout the Showcase, Soul of Jazz features famous jazz musicians and a fun take on the history of the musical style.
Originating from African Americans, and distinctly American, jazz music has been influenced by different cultures. And to bring that American soul to Walt Disney World & Epcot American Adventure guests, starting today “The Soul of Jazz: an American Adventure” will give them a lesson in both the music and its background just in time to celebrate Black History Month and the popularity of Disney+ Soul movie.

Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure Details
With a multi-city musical tour, guests will see artifacts including the legendary jazz musician Louis Armstrong’s trumpet. And with the help of Play Disney Parks app, we’ll soon be able to interact with the exhibit for an immersive lesson and to test jazz knowledge.
Working with jazz experts and institutions across the country, Disney’s goal was to explore the rich history and influence of this ever-evolving genre of music.
