I not going to lie, I missed the gingerbread displays at Walt Disney World. But this year, my friends, they’re back and I can’t wait to see the beauty and attention to detail that goes into each one. Here’s where to see gingerbread houses at Disney World in 2021!
You know, there’s something to be said about making a gingerbread house at Christmastime. Most times we simply purchase a kit and decorate using candy and icing, but I do love to watch the creation of them on the foodie channels. On a normal scale, the delicacy of the gingerbread cookie and the attempts to keep them together sometimes leave me biting my lip with anticipation.
So, I can only imagine the skill that goes into the massive houses in the Disney World Resorts. With months of planning, once debuted they really are a sight to see. And while the ones at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort tend to the the most talked about, this year there are two other locations to check out. Here’s what we know thanks to Disney Parks Blog.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Lobby
From November 10th through January 1, 2022, Grand Floridian Resort will have a traditional (yet massive!) gingerbread house complete with cinnamon clouds appearing to puff right out of the chimney.
Life sized, it will be decorated with white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, and sugar poinsettias. There will be treats for sale as well – house-made houses and gingerbread ornaments.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
From November 1st through January 2, 2022, Disney’s Beach Club Resort will house a life-size spinning carousel, keeping with the holiday tradition in years previous. With the theme featuring “The Little Mermaid”, we’ll spy hand-painted holiday characters, handcrafted gingerbread shingles, and fondant snowflakes.
While Disney’s Yacht Club doesn’t have a gingerbread house, it will have an adorable holiday village with a miniature train in thew lobby area.
EPCOT – The American Adventure Rotunda
From November 26 through December 30th, head to American Adventure in World Showcase at Epcot. It’s there we’ll find The American Adventure Gingerbread Display. Created by skilled EPCOT pastry chefs, there will be recreations of the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and The American Adventure building in miniature edible versions.
