With Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary only a couple of months to go, it seems information about the celebration is being released almost daily. The most recent: sneak peeks of 50th anniversary merchandise. Here’s a look at everything that’s been shown so far including my guesses.
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Merchandise
Just last week, the Cinderella Castle 50th anniversary makeover was completed. This week on Disney Parks Blog, four photos highlighting what’s to come on October 1st have been released.
Starting with the obvious one for me, this looks like the left ear of a Mickey ear hat. In felted navy blue, the ears are highlighted with EARidescent material.
This close up is definitely a plate of some sort. Covered with old school WDW style and coloring, it’s a little hard to tell the material it’s made from.
Maybe I’m just wishing, but this looks a lot like the Mickey soap dispensers that leave a Mickey head in soap when it’s pushed.
As for this last image, it definitely has the look of a Cinderella Castle statue.
and if you’ve been watching the WDW YouTube channels, you may have seen a quick look at the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary spirit jersey and Minnie ears being photographed in the park the other day.
With lavender as the main background color, the jersey has a stamped EARidescent pattern along the middle and bottom. As for the Minnie ears, they’re lavender with EARidsecent ear sequins. Thanks to Disneys.nevereland.delivery for the sharp eye!
