Today, Disney Parks announced its new service, Disney Genie, will officially kick off October 19, 2021. Here’s what we know about the park day planning service so far.
This year, Disney gave us all a shock when Fastpass+ was no more. Instead, Disney Genie will take its place and is intended to make the most of your park day.
How Does Disney Genie Work?
Using the ebbs and flows of park guests, it will calculate which rides will have lower wait times based on crowd calendars in the past. The feature will be accessible through My Disney Experience.
Genie has declared that it will help us all save time in standby queues by giving us suggestions on what attraction to visit next. Additionally, the service offers a paid version, Genie+, that will use a Lightning Lane to fast track your way to the front of the line.
And if you really want to ride an attraction or two only, you can pay a per-ride fee to jump ahead of the standby queue. In an a la carry style, you can purchase a Lane pass right on My Disney Experience easily. Of course, you’ll need to connect a valid credit or debit card ahead of time.
